High Achievers

Feeling unfulfilled despite all your achievements?
Ditch self-sabotage and create success that feels like you.
On the outside, you are the picture of success. But inside…
you feel differently.
Sound familiar?
Achievement is your thing.
You know how to work hard and produce results – on the field or court, on stage, at school, or in your job. You’ve been excelling since you were a kid. The problem is that your external success is not translating to internal happiness. Now, as a teenager or young adult, this disconnect is stressing you out. It impacts your ability to perform at your best. You feel like you can’t keep up, and it’s tanking your self-esteem and confidence.
You’re over hating on yourself when all you do is try your best.
Now, you’re ready to dig deep and make some changes. You know you deserve better. You want more for yourself.
You are desperate to be your own best teammate. You want to use your grit, drive, and determination…that dawg you’ve cultivated over the years, to build a life that feels authentic, satisfying, and fulfilling.
It’s time to create success and achievement on your own terms.
But how?
That’s where I come in.
Hey, I’m
Cameron!
I coach high achievers because I am one myself.
I had my “oh shit, something needs to change” moment at age 25. On the outside, I was a successful, well-liked TV news reporter with a degree from Cornell University. Internally, I was unhappy. I was battling an eating disorder. I had no self-esteem, my confidence was shot, and I felt like a bystander in my own life.
I’m a helper by nature. I studied sociology in college to get a better grasp of the impact of systemic inequality on individuals. As a journalist, I used my platform to spotlight and uplift underrepresented communities. I covered stories on poverty, education, politics, healthcare, food access, opiate crisis, social movements, and youth activism.
But I finally realized that in order to find personal happiness and fulfillment, I needed to help myself.
So I quit the news business, moved cross-country, and got into eating disorder treatment. I went to therapy. I got to know myself and fleshed out my identity, hopes, and dreams. I became a tutor during the pandemic and taught middle and high schoolers about social-emotional learning. I stumbled onto coaching and absolutely fell in love. I trained and got certified as a life, academic, career, and wellness coach through the Youth Coaching Institute. After that, I started working as a coach for a teen success coaching business. I also started my own coaching business. I reinvented myself as an athlete. I found the fulfillment I was desperately seeking.
I'm passionate about helping others embark on their own version of that journey. I love helping folks harness their authenticity and self-trust to build a personal roadmap to success and achievement.
You are worthy and capable of creating the life of your dreams.
As a coach, I can help you learn thrive your way.
It’s time to get in the driver’s seat.
One Client’s Story
“With the guidance of Cameron, I learned so much about who I am. I learned that I am the one who gets to create what life should be like. I dictate what really matters at the end.
I came into this thinking, like, oh my god, what if I don't know anything? But now I'm like I know everything. I didn't think this was going to work, but it worked!
My favorite part of this experience was realizing that I have the tools to make situations better. I define how things unravel.”

More Client Feedback
Achievement does not guarantee fulfillment or happiness.
Connecting to your authentic self and living out your values does.
Cameron’s clients are looking for:
Customized support and accountability towards their specific goals.
Alternatives to grind culture that says you have to berate yourself to get better.
Opportunities to expand their self-awareness in a judgement-free environment.
An authentic, ambitious coach who has been through similar challenges and made it out the other end.
Here’s the coaching process…

An opportunity for us to meet, get to know each other, answer any questions, and confirm that my coaching is a fit for your needs.

2.
We use assessments to evaluate where you are and what you want to achieve. We get clarity on the most important areas of focus and establish 1 to 3 goals that you want to pursue over the coaching engagement.
Together, we choose a custom number of sessions to work through the goals established in the intake session. Most clients need 6-10 sessions to feel confident about their progress and their ability to self-coach moving forward.
Important Notes about Coaching
I am not a licensed therapist or mental health care provider. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Coaching is not a substitute for therapy or for health care.
Many of my clients have worked with or are presently working with a therapist to resolve any underlying emotional or psychological issues that contribute to the challenges they face. They seek out a coach for support around actionable steps they can take to make progress on their specific goals.
My fellow high achievers know that shit won’t work unless you do. Coaching is the same. Buy in is essential. You have to be ready, willing, and able to do the work it takes to get to where you want to be. We come up with the plan in session, but it’s on the client to put those steps into action outside of session. As a coach, I serve as your mirror, cheerleader, support, and accountability partner.
What makes Cameron different from other coaches?
My VIBE:
I bring my whole self to the table. Black, queer, neurodivergent, ADHD, journalist, scholar, athlete, casual, quirky, funny, all of it. I don’t do pretenses, formalities, or hierarchies. As a result, my clients feel safe to show up authentically in the coaching space. They know they will be seen, heard, and appreciated for who they are.
My APPROACH:
My varied experience as a scholar, journalist, tutor, and coach informs the intersectional, affirming, socio-culturally competent care I provide to my clients. I have 1+ year of coaching education and over 200 hours of coaching experience. I am a certified resilience, academic, career, and wellness coach through the Youth Coaching Institute. I am also an International Coaching Federation member.
My WHY:
I’m passionate about this work because it changed my life. Maya Angelou said, (I’m paraphrasing here), “you’re not free until you free others.” It is my life’s mission to create space for high achievers to connect with their authenticity and unlock their capacity to create the life of their dreams.
